The Lord has opened a door for us to have an
impact on families and family life ministries of churches through
the ministry the Lord led us to found in 1993. That Ministry
is Family And Children Educational Ministries or FACE Ministries.
Our immediate desire is to make ourselves available to your churches
and small groups to encourage families to be faithful in bringing up
their sons and daughters to be the powerful godly men and women of
the next generation.
In the summer of 2005, our
dream of starting our own camp through FACE Ministries, to become
it's stomping grounds, became a reality. The Seale Family's 20
acre property is now slowly being transformed into what we are
calling
While we are still
in the beginning stages of our camp preparation, in the near future,
Camp Winchester will be open as a
year round camp;
During the
spring and fall
seasons,
Camp Winchester, through our programmed
retreats,
will become a place for families to get away from the city or work,
a place to be quiet and still before the Lord; a place to include
your whole family and enjoy spending time together; a place to learn
outdoor skills; a place to develop a biblical model of a family
through father/son,
father/daughter, mother/daughters
and of course
family camps.
A place for father/son teams to learn ministry and evangelism.
As the
summer months
approach, staffers here will be busy preparing loads of fun for
youth camps,
both for guys and girls. We have the means to have a
full-fledged horse program that will be used year-round, during the
summer months, with the kids, and also throughout retreat season for
families to enjoy.
Presently, we also
are opening the camp up to you for
field trips
for your family or group. We are inviting you to put us
on your schedule to come out and enjoy nature, animals and learn a
variety of old fashioned skills. So start by visiting our
schedule page and choosing from a variety of field trip packets;
pick your date and make reservations with us. Then head out to
the country and be prepared for some serious fun!
