Hello friends! :) This is a little blurp that I wrote in our Camp Newsletter. I thought I'd share the same with all of you... Here goes... :)
Summer for us has been as busy as ever. We have begun work on a new recording project & are super excited about choosing songs & arranging parts for it. Our prayer is to have it out late spring. So, please be in prayer for us as we work through this process.
As far as our singing engagements go, we have been so blessed to sing at numerous churches in the Austin/Houston area this summer & spring. Revival services were held at Elm Grove Baptist Church in Waelder and we were so blessed to be apart of the incredible fellowship in that family of God. Our dad not only led the worship, accompanied by mom's piano playing, but he also shared from the Scripture during the four services while we girls brought the special music. What an experience in the House of the Lord!
Once a month, we are allowed to visit our local Nursing Home and share the Word through song to the residents there. Recently we've had several families join us and they have not only blessed us with their presence, but also in song, time and again Such precious children with beautiful hearts for the Lord.
... so that was what I had written before I ran out of room in my little spot, but I can't run out of room here, so one more thing.... :)
We are especially looking forward to September 15. This is when we have been invited to sing with a couple other gospel quartets at a Gospel Sing in Houston. Come join us if you can get away. It should be an awesome experience of praise to the Savior who allows us to sing!
Okay, more ramblings next time,
Until then,

Yesterday was the last service of Revival at Elm Grove Baptist Church in Waelder Texas. What an incredible three days of blessings we had with the folks there. Our dad led the congregation in worship with mom's piano accompaniment and we were the special music before dad opened the Scripture and brought sermons from the book of Malachi. It was amazing to see how many different folks the Lord brought from all over the area to that little country church! And I know He met with us and was there in that little building... He is so good!
It has been a while since I last sat here and caught you up with all that's been happening with the Seale Sisters, though. So, I will just tell you... we've been kept ever so busy this spring and summer... moving on into the fall. As far as singing engagements go, we've gone again to Houston to sing at different low income housing projects. George Rush and his wife invited us again to visit those beautiful folks and we did so gladly. What joy they brought to our hearts, their encouraging words, their beautiful smiles. And boy did the Rushes ever feed us well while we were there! It seems like every time we got a break someone was bringing out food... check out our photo page to see what I mean! :) We've also been able to be a part of the Knippa family reunion. We were not family, but had a lovely time sharing the Lord through song with them.
Anyhow, that's a little of what we've been up to... I'll try to write more sooner than last time.
Until then,

Isn't our Lord good? About a month ago, I took time to send a demo CD & brochures to churches in Austin and surrounding. Not long after we received an email from a wonderful lady from Spicewood Bpt. saying the special music guests that she had scheduled for their "Denim & Pearls" Ladies Banquet had cancelled out at the last minute, right as she was needing to advertise. Going to the Lord... and then her pastor, she told him what had happened and he pulled out our Demo Packet that he had just received a day or two before and handed it to her as an answer to prayer! But that is not the end of my story... So we get up to go (last night)... Oh, but you must know that two days ago, Abigail was almost completely hoarse... couldn't hardly talk. We've had her on lozenges, water, hot tea, Vitamin C, Lemons... you name it... for two days straight. Her voice was coming back, but she could not hit high notes for anything... Anyhow, we got there and were a bit anxious, I'm afraid... not knowing which songs we should sing, for fear that she wouldn't be able to do them at all. We did this and that... warmed up a little, talked a bit, ...prayed... and went back in with a new assurance knowing God had this planned from the beginning. He gave that packet to that Pastor at that time... He knew Abigail would be hoarse the day we came. But He had it all figured out in advance. Do you know Abigail sang like an angel last night? PTL! She's still on water, lozenges and hot tea... but He knew. He cares. And He is/was there for us when we need Him most.

Easter Sunday found us at Rosanky Baptist Church, sharing with the wonderful folk there. What an awesome opportunity to sing of His love & forgiveness! The building was packed to maximum, with extra chairs having been brought in. We were able to sing 12 or so songs, and give bits of testimony as well. I truly felt the Lord moving during the service. A good number of people responded when it came time for the invitation. I am so glad to be in Christ's service... I know we were blessed, and I'm sure so many others as well. PTL!!!

We just got the news, Saturday, that Roger Bennett, pianist for the former Cathedral Quartet and recently for Legacy Five, passed away. This was after a long and hard battle with leukemia. I have been thinking about him and playing his music all week, knowing what an incredible man he was and how much God used him to help others fighting similar battles of their own. Roger had an incredible gift of songwriting. I take courage in the words that he penned...
I have been helpless,
I have been helpful,
I have been useless,
I have been used.
I have flown on the wings of the morning.
I have descended to a dark, lonely place.
He's been there,
In good times and bad.
He's been there,
When I could not carry on.
My Lord's been there,
When my heart had no words,
The Loving Father still heard.
I've never been alone for He's been there.
I do not know,
the pain you are pacing.
Battles ahead,
or victories to win.
But I can tell you,
His love never faileth.
Jesus is always a compassionate friend.
He's been holding me up when I stumble,
Guiding my feet in the night
He's been there,
when my heart had no words,
the loving Father still heard.
I've never been alone,
for He's been there."
What an incredible servant of Christ! Now, no longer does he suffer in his fight with cancer... He has run to the arms of Jesus, finally home to stay!
